Biography

Pamelina H. (1959- )

  PAMELINA H. was born Pamelina Presnell in 1959 at Fort Monmouth, New Jersey. Her artistic mother inspired her to paint and draw, and at the age of nine, her first illustration was published in the periodical  Vampirella.

After graduating from high school, she began to illustrate erotic stories for popular men's magazines.

At age twenty-two, she moved to the Netherlands, where she had her first one-woman show in Arnhem, followed by a fantasy & science fiction show in Amsterdam.

Since her return to the United States in 1985, she has worked as a free-lance illustrator for such celebrity clients as Aerosmith, Genesis, Def Leppard, Motley Crue, Scorpions, Cher, and Fender and Ibanez Guitars.

In 1993, Pamelina changed her surname to Hovnatanian, her mother's maiden name.

Following three sold out calendars  - Celestial Mermaids, Goddesses, and  Tattoo Magazine Calendar 1997 - and successful exhibitions in Los Angeles and Albuquerque, New Mexico, she is currently working on her next calendar project and first book.
